1. Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo Cosworth, aka the best M3.
2. All the sportscars I’d ever need. 1st Gen NSX.
3. This particular Nardo Grey V70R for the practical stuff.
4. FZR250. One of the 250cc 4 cylinder screamers of the late 80's, with an almost 20000rpm redline and comparable power to a modern ninja 400. Swoon.
5. A rotating supply of any and all bikes that pique my interest at any given time.

The following Porsches:
-959 for street use
-959 for rally use
-Road legal 962 for a track/street toy (with rothman’s livery)
-Porsche 904 for.....reasons
-And an early 2000s 911 Turbo for daily driving
Everything else would be gravy on top, as well as a small stable of bikes.

Tapas’s E39 M5. Not his specifically, one just like it. (Is that the correct possessive of Tapas?)

Technically that’s an Evo II (Evo I had less flamboyant wheels and spoiler). :)
I’m afraid I’d end up with a Leno-like hoard if I had access to Powerball style funds, I can’t even begin.

I’m probably crazy for saying this, but it’s the 911 turbo that gets me the most excited.
Now if you had added a mint green 944 turbo S......

I keep on trying to justify a big boi supernaked as a garage addition.
The issue I have
is that there isn’t anywhere to use it. I’m sure as hell not going to bring a 30k bike to a track when a $3k 600 will be just as exhilarating (at my skill level at least), and whenever I’m honest with myself, I have to admit that the number of canyon roads around me where the 701 feels under-powered is near zero.

It would be easy to put a singer on my list, but I was trying to keep the list lean, with only one car per manufacturer, so the Alfa takes the Singer slot, leaving me to get a delicous, modern, open air Porsche.

I keep on trying to talk myself into a sensible ninja 400 instead of something European/high power/expensive/unreliable lol.
That makes sense. Especially with the 701 and triple in the stable already. Between those, the Honda, and scooters, you don’t really seem to be missing anything right? Maybe just a cheap little dirt bike to smash around on?

Oh, I sold the Triple :p
Pretty much stopped looking at it after I got the 701. Only times it got ridden was for longer trips, and now I have the Africa for that. I’m all about long travel suspension bikes now!
How have you not bought an SV650 yet? It’s the answer. Faster than any car you’ve ever owned, reliable, cheap, moddable, and beloved by like 90% of the motorcycle community. It’s the turbo miata of bikes.

I would do that at this point. I want a good all-rounder that I can become a better rider on. Unfortunately t here isn’t a single SV 650 on seattle CL :(
I saw a 701 in person the other day. That’s a much bigger bike than I expected! Seems... Kind of intimidating!
So are you keeping the Africa Twin long-term?

It is certainly not a short bike, thankfully I’m comfortable enough on one leg at lights that it doesn’t bother me (am 5'11" and cannot flat foot on it). Riding a high center of gravity bike hard takes some getting used to for sure, but the rewards are there considering how bad most of the O
regon road surfaces
are.
And yeah, the A
frica is definitely a long term bike. Plan to do a lot more long distance riding in the coming years, and that is it’s party piece. I did have to re-calibrate
my riding style as it’s cornering
limits are a bit lower than what I was used to. This was the front tire 30 miles after I bought the bike brand new.

Do you ride your supermoto like a sport bike? I’m still a little unsure of *what* a supermoto is...
God, that color scheme on the Honda is so nice

Supermotos are dirt bikes with slicks . The basic premise is similar to a miata, in that the experience is all about low weight. The Street Triple is a VERY light bike at 400lbs, but my 701 is 80 lbs lighter. This lets you throw the bike around a lot more. Entry speeds can be quite a bit faster.
As far as riding
In sweepers, yes you ride them just like a sportbike. Lean with the bike and lower COG. However you can also, in much tighter corners, counter lean (lean off the opposite side of the bike). This makes the bike a lot more stable and controllable for low speed maneuvers
.
You can see a good example of the different body positions here
